"The
Glory of Femininity"
By Golden True "The Image Maker" Artistic Vision 2010 |

From
the first contact with mothers' face, we all look to the human landscape
for life and love. My figurative paintings behold women's faces and the
ephemeral language they expression. In the female persona I see the grace
and salvation of the world, starlight folded into human form. With swirls
of paint both simple and complex, I celebrate the glory of femininity.

For Golden True, art is a visionary activity that considers the world beyond the known, the unseen subtleties of life, to shape evolution through the power of vision. "My effort," says Mr, True, "is to infuse my paintings with an ethereal atmosphere that suggests that fleeting nature of life. I hope to create a ‘sheltering quality’ in my landscapes that can give the viewer a feeling of coming home." Gestural marks, and
unrestrained and electrified colors, establish an unfinished world in
Mr. True’s artwork, which allows each viewer to find a peaceful sanctuary
within, in which a personal resolution may be discovered. Mr. True is represented by the Phoenix Gallery in Burlington, VT, and The Gallant Gallery in Salem, MA. His artwork has also been shown at the Stowe Art Gallery in Stowe, VT, and the New Era Gallery on Vinalhaven Island, Maine.
