Don Eccleston is a well-known retired art teacher in the New London area. He creates mysterious and fascinating semi-abstract images which seem to carry mythological inferences. He lives in Uncasville, CT. He received his BS in Art Education from Hartford Art School in 1957, then had a studio on Vincente Boulevard in Hollywood, California until 1960.
His work has been shown in Los Angeles venues, including Barnstable Gallery, at later at the Slater Museum on Norwich, CT, and the Mystic Art Association. He has had one-person shows at the Lyman Allen Museum in New London, and at the Terrain Graphics Gallery in SoHo, NYC.
