ROSEMARY DeLUCCO-ALPERT is on the Photography Department faculty at Paier College of Art in Hamden. She had the privilege to study with Ansel Adams, and worked in Los Angeles as a photo editor. Traveling through the Southwest and the Caribbean, she started a greeting card line from her collections. Her photographs capture beauty and simplicity, allowing the inner light of the subject to be expressed. This collection of photos are from a visual journey through Antelope Canyon in the Navajo Reservation. These canyons are petrified sand dunes, created by the elements of time, wind, rushing water, and illuminated by nature’s light.

JEFF HACKETT has over 20 years experience as a professional corporate and editorial photo- grapher, and has published in more than 35 books and a dozen calendars. He travels the country capturing images of American landscapes, in natural and architectural environments. His clients have included Yale School of Medicine, Exxon, Greenwich Associates, Harley Davidson, Inc., and Motorbooks Publishing, Inc. He lives in Orange, CT with his wife and two children.

PATRICIA KAPLAN, kindergarten teacher, mother, law student at age 35, & family/ child law attorney, is currently Executive Director of the New Haven Legal Assistance Association, past President of the New Haven County Bar Association. "I started taking pictures on various trips and began to see the world differently. I wanted to capture a feeling, a mood, a texture. A window would catch my eye, a certain light on a building, laundry hung from ancient buildings."

Much of Kaplan's work was shot on a 35mm Canon Rebel Sure Shot camera, which allows her the quick response she seeks, yet an accurate capture of the moment. Kaplan's photographs have been shown at Artworks Gallery in Hartford, and at Shore Images in 2004.

GREG MILLER's panoramas are created by digitally stitching together multiple images- on average he uses 10 to 13 images per panorama. "I seek to create an emotional response for the viewer that stimulates the emotions I feel when I see a scene that Nature provides. I have a life long passion for mountains, water, and photography. The digital era has finally allowed me to control the full photo-graphic process resulting in fine art prints that have the appearance I intended when looking into the viewfinder." "Starting with a Nikon 35mm system and an Arca-Swiss 4x5 large format camera, I get film transparencies, scanning each at high resolution and optimizing in PhotoShop, and printing with archival paper and inks." Living in Monroe, NY, Miller is a member of the Catskill Artists Gallery, and currently Vice Chair of the NY/ North Jersey Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club.
