Pan and Echo

The god of shepherds, Pan was a son of Hermes (Mercury) and
Penelope, born with a human torso, pointed ears and chin,
and the lower parts of a goat. He was fond of cool streams and the woodland shade from where he loved to watch the water Nymphs frolic, especially the young Echo who could only speak the last syllable of any voice she heard.
